Charges have been laid against a 28-year-old man by the Barrie Police Internet Child Exploitation Unit.
It says the suspect was arrested a week ago, following a five-month investigation.
The accused is now facing charges of Luring a Child, Sending Sexually Explicit Material to a Child, and Making Child Pornography.
Police say he used social media (specifically SnapChat) to communicate with several teenage victims and exploit them by offering money in exchange for explicit pictures.
The man was held for bail and later released to his surety with several conditions and a future court date.
