The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 126 new COVID-19 cases and two deaths.
26 of today’s cases are children.
Today’s update includes 2 new hospitalizations and 95 newly resolved cases.
Today’s reported deaths include two Simcoe County residents – a man between 45 and 64 years of age and a woman who was over 79 years old.
Yesterday (Dec 20th) was also a single-day record for vaccinations for the region, with 11,090 people receiving vaccinations.
