Wasaga Beach Mayor Nina Bilfolchi has written a letter to our medical officer of health, ahead of new restrictions being imposed on Monday.
She is asking Dr. Charles Gardner to not implement any capacity limits that would hurt local businesses, suggesting a more consistent province-wide approach, if necessary.
The mayor says local business owners have worked hard to follow all the safety protocols and any new restrictions would further damage their financial health.
