SMHDU Fri COVID-19 Update Includes 142 New Cases, 29 Children

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 142 new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths.

29 of today’s cases are children.

Today’s update also includes 40 newly resolved cases and 2 new hospitalizations.

To date, 88 percent of the region’s over 12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 85 percent has received its second.
