A disturbance in Muskoka Lakes has led to the arrest of a 44 year old man.
The OPP was called to an address on Burgess Avenue two weeks ago, when two officers were assaulted while trying to de-escalate the situation.
Police say as a result Chad PAYNE from Muskoka Lakes has been charged with Aggravated Assault of Peace Officer, Assault a Peace Officer Cause Bodily Harm and Resist Peace officer x 2.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on December 21, 2021 to answer to his charges.
