We got a little bit of everything over the past 24 hours, snow, freezing rain and strong winds.
That has led to very nasty road conditions this morning and bus cancellations across the region.
Today. the temperature will rise well-above seasonal with rain in the forecast, before the snow is expected to return tonight.
A Wind Warning is in effect for Muskoka, while a Wind Warning and Snow Squall Watch have been issued for Simcoe County, including Barrie, Orillia, Collingwood and Midland.
Environment Canada says a sharp cold front will usher in much colder air this afternoon setting up ideal conditions for lake effect snow squalls with winds gusting up to 90km/hr. There is a possibility for 15-20cms tonight.
It says travel may be hazardous due to sudden changes in the weather and visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow.
