You can help students at Goderich District Collegiate Institute collect food donations, without leaving your home.
The school’s annual food drive runs Wednesday, and Coordinator Jack Archambault says residents can leave bags of non-perishable food items on their front porch or stoop for kids to collect.
Archambault tells Country 104.9 News the items in need include canned fruit and vegetables, canned meat, soups, and hamburger helper.
For COVID-19 safety, Archambault asks that food be left on your porch, preferably in a plastic bag for easy transport.
GDCI students will be scouring Goderich between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, collecting donations.
The donations support food banks in the Town of Goderich.
