Owen Sound’s overnight winter parking by-law is set to come into effect on Wednesday.
From Dec. 1 to March 31, parking is prohibited between 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. on any city street.
City police say those who violate the by-law will be subject to a $30 fine and could potentially have their vehicle towed at their expense.
According to the city’s website, night parking passes can be purchased for $20 a month to park in municipal lots 5 and 9, located at the 800 block of 3rd Avenue East and the 700 block of 1st Avenue East respectively.
