Kimber Valley Farms, a unique Icelandic fibre sheep farm, located in the stunning Beaver Valley in Kimberley is hosting its very first Christmas market.
The market will be held in their large open horse arena on their farm on Saturday, Nov. 27 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will showcase a variety of farmers and crafters offering one-of-a-kind items for the holiday shopper.
Mask wearing by visitors is required. Parking is available on-site, but somewhat limited.
Kimber Valley Farms is located at 236087 Beaver Valley Road in the Beaver Valley, close to the intersection of 119 and Grey Road 13. The white-domed horse arena is visible from the road.
The market currently has 17 vendors registered that includes producers of:
- honey,
- various locally raised organic meat,
- artisanal cheese,
- preserves,
- small-batch botanicals for wellness,
- floral designs,
- fresh baked goods,
- leather works,
- eco-friendly home goods,
- cozy knitwear,’
- one-of-a-kind fibre art,
- hand-made wooden creations,
- knitted fashion,
- home décor pillows,
- crochet toys,
- embroidered linens,
- wool blankets,
- hats and capes,
- and delicious local catering.
Kimber Valley Farms’ own fibre products from the Icelandic sheep will be available, including premium raw fleece, roving and yarn along with beautiful hand-made fibreworks such as fisherman’s mitts, the popular Icelandic hats, beanies and felted soap.
