Council has received a staff report on the costs and policing impacts of the unsanctioned car rally held in Wasaga Beach in September.
It found expenses to the town were approximately $46,000, plus OPP and civilian overtime costs from approximately 2,400 hours.
The report says the province will pick up the cost of other OPP expenses, including officers from its Highway Safety Division and Tactical Team.
There were 488 calls for service over that weekend and 399 charges were laid.
