I told you yesterday what a busy day today is
Three Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada meetings in the morning + the News Conference early afternoon then off to Barrie for the Attack & Colts.
Plus don’t forget, the Knights of Meaford are staging ” 90s Night ” this evening when they host South Muskoka in the Greater Metro League with all proceeds directed to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Game time in Meaford tonight is 7:30 pm.
Plus, it just occurred to me that it’s American Thanksgiving which of course means NFL Football on 3 sites.
There are the traditional games today at Detroit & Dallas plus an evening game with the Buffalo Bills at New Orleans to meet the Saints.
I happened to notice the point spreads this week and outside of the Cowboys being 7 point favorites this afternoon against the Raiders, the other 14 games this week have extremely tight margins from the bookies.
Maybe that’s because the games are in fact that tight. Or perhaps, the oddsmakers are as puzzled as I am about the week to week flips flops that have marked this season.
Looking a little further ahead, Semifinal Sunday is coming up in the Canadian Football League
In the East, Montreal is at Hamilton Sunday with the winner advancing to face the Argos
Out west, Calgary visits Saskatchewan on Sunday with the winner moving on to go against Winnipeg next Sunday.
It’s not technically the weekend yet. But with all this hockey and all this football on the schedule, it sure feels like it.
