The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 155 new COVID-19 cases and 3 virus-related deaths in its first update from the weekend.
It says 55 of today’s cases are children.
The health unit also reported 3 new hospitalizations, along with 82 newly resolved cases.
To date, 87 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 84 percent has received its second.
