According to The Weather Network, a noticeable pattern change will make itself felt across southern Ontario tonight, as the 20-degree daytime highs give way to rain and lake-effect snow by the weekend.

Then, she says single-digit temperatures are expected until at least mid-next week.
Chilly, near seasonal, weather will continue into early next week, with temperatures set to rebound to above seasonal for a couple days during the middle of the week before colder weather returns.
Meanwhile, Winter Storm Warnings are in effect for Northern Ontario, where 25 to 40 cm is forecasted to fall today.
