The Downtown Barrie BIA is trying to brighten up the city with bold colours.
First, it painted the side of the Bank of Montreal building beside Meridian Place downtown a bright pink, which can be spotted from a distance.

But now, it has unveiled a new vibrant red wall in the city’s West-end, which says “Welcome to Downtown Barrie”.
They are part of the BIA’s new branding campaign: #BeBold #BeSeen #BeDowntownBarrie.
