A man has died in a fiery crash on Duckworth Street in Barrie.
Police say it happened just before midnight, north of Georgian Drive, where a vehicle left the roadway and struck the southeast corner over the Highway 400 overpass which caused the vehicle to burst into flames.
The driver, who was the lone occupant in the car, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The victim was 69 year old man from Richmond Hill, but his name has yet to be released.
At present, the investigation remains ongoing, and police are trying to determine why the motor vehicle involved in this crash left the roadway.
