An investigation into a dog attack that sent a woman to hospital with a significant injury continues.
Bracebridge OPP responded Monday afternoon at 4 to an address on Bethune Drive South in Gravenhurst after a woman who’d been visiting there was attacked by a dog.
Police say the woman was in the company of children outside when the large dog came from a residence and took hold of her arm leaving a significant tear.
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for her injuries.
Police are now working alongside the Gravenhurst By-law department and the Public Health Unit to conduct an investigation into the matter.
