A traffic complaint in Springwater has led to impaired and dangerous driving charges against a 49 year old Wasaga Beach man.
Police were called about an erratic vehicle in the Highway 26 and Horseshoe Valley Road area on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers quickly located the vehicle just after 4:00 pm and apprehended the driver.
Trevor SCHAEFFER (age 49) of Wasaga Beach, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
– Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration-80 plus
– Operation while impaired-alcohol
– Dangerous Driving
The accused had their driver’s license suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood on November 30, 2021.
