An earlier power outage that affected more than 5,600 hydro customers in parts of Grey County has been restored.
As of 9:40 a.m., Hydro One is no longer reporting any service disruptions in the area.
The outage this morning affected several communities, including Hanover, Markdale, Flesherton, Feversham, Dornoch, Durham and others.
It led to several school closures today, including St. Peter’s & St. Paul’s School in Durham, Holy Family School in Hanover, Osprey Central in Maxwell, Macphail Memorial in Flesherton and Grey Highlands Secondary School in Flesherton.
