The Township of Oro-Medonte has been selected as a tour stop for the 8th season of Rogers Hometown Hockey.
In preparation for this exciting festival celebrating the Canadian tradition of hockey, residents and businesses in Oro-Medonte are encouraged to show their community spirit by decorating their homes (i.e. front porches, lawns, windows, vehicles etc.), and business store front windows with hockey and Canada decorations using a red and white theme.
The kick-off to Paint the Township Red will begin on Monday, November 1st, running until the conclusion of the Rogers Hometown Festival on Monday, November 8.
The event will take place at Horseshoe Resort located at 1101 Horseshoe Valley Road and volunteers are also needed for the event and you can apply by clicking here.
To share your community spirit with others, and to showcase the wonderful community of OroMedonte, please take photos of your decorated homes and businesses and share on social media.
