A drug trafficking investigation in Collingwood has resulted in four arrests.
Police say the investigation began into cocaine and fentanyl trafficking in the town last September and culminated with a search warrant being executed on Tuesday when officers seized a large quantity of fentanyl, cocaine, cash and other controlled substances with an estimated street value of over $20,000.
The accused include both men and women, ranging from 32-50 years of age.
Rene MORRIS, 34 years of age, of Collingwood, has been charged with:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
· Possession of schedule I – cocaine
· Possession of schedule I – fentanyl
Dustin LEBLOND, 32 years of age, of Collingwood, has been charged with:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – fentanyl
· Possession of schedule I – cocaine
· Possession of schedule I – fentanyl
· Possession of property obtained by crime – two counts
· Fail to comply with Probation Order
Terry VOLLICK, 50 years of age, of Collingwood, has been charged with:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
Lisa HENDRY, 43 years of age, of Collingwood, has been charged with:
· Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
The accused are scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood, on December 14, 2021.
