Owen Sound is looking for volunteers interested in helping shape the direction of the city to sit as a member on a committee.
The city has vacancies on its community services, corporate services, operations, accessibility advisory, community development, tourism and culture advisory and Tom Thomson art gallery advisory committees for terms starting on Feb. 1, 2022.
Application forms are available at city hall or online and will be accepted until Nov. 26.
“Becoming a member of a committee is a great way to get involved in local government, and have your voice heard,” says Owen Sound Mayor Ian Boddy.
Committee membership in Owen Sound is typically for a three-year term.
