Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada climaxes on Saturday January 29th when the CBC will use Owen Sound as their home base for a full day of NHL broadcasting
The 3 days prior, January 26-28, there will be a sequence of festival events in the city of Owen Sound to celebrate the sport.

The Toronto Argonauts of the CFL traded quarterback Nick Arbuckle to the Edmonton Elks for a 3rd-round pick and the rights to Chad Kelly from Edmonton’s negotiation list.
The draft pick acquired by Toronto will be elevated to a 2nd-round selection if Arbuckle re-signs with the Elks.
Kelly, 27, was a 7th-round pick of the Denver Broncos in 2017 and has also spent time with the Indianapolis Colts

Organized by the Optimist Club of Sydenham and District, and with the support of the Grey Bruce Branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association, Dahlgren will appear at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre at 10:30 am.
Tickets are $15 and available through the Attack Box Office, online or in person.
Coles bookstore will be selling Dahlgren’s book “Crossroads” at the event, and there will be a book signing afterwards.
