Student Neil Haas has received funding to begin a summer business, through the Summer Company Program.
Six students are getting some funding from the County of Huron for their start-up summer businesses.
The Summer Company program, administered by the County of Huron, aims to equip students with the tools they need to succeed, as they learn how to run a business, receive mentorship and training, and develop skills that are highly valued in all workplaces.
Successful recipients from this year’s Summer Company program include:
- Anna Lang, Open Heart Studio (Goderich)
- Neil Haas, Ontario’s West Coast Honey (Clinton)
- Ty Livingston, Autostar Car Detailing (Clinton)

- Claire Mitchell, Huron County Horse Trailers (Walton)
