Doug Ford speaks at a press conference.
Premier Doug Ford is set to make an announcement this afternoon about Ontario’s plan to move past its re-opening roadmap.
The Premier will be joined by Health Minister Christine Elliott, Associate Minister of Digital Government Kaleed Rasheed and Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore in a 2 p.m. news conference at Queen’s Park.
A release from the Ontario government says Ford will announce Ontario’s plan to “safely reopen and manage Covid-19 for the long term.”
Reports say part of the announcement will include the end of remaining capacity limits at settings where proof of vaccination is required, including gyms, restaurants and bars.
