Two people have been arrested in Orillia charged in connection with the distribution of inappropriate images on social media.
Barrie police say they got a complaint from a victim in April, and after enlisting the help of the OPP, they searched a place in Orillia and charged a 23 year-old with luring a child, sending sexually explicit material to a child, and making child pornography via social media.
In an unrelated case, a 25 year-old man was arrested after a woman lodged a complaint with Barrie Police in January.
The accused faces charges of criminal harassment, extortion and non-consensual distribution of intimate images.
Several computer devices have been seized and will be forensically analyzed.
