United Way of Perth-Huron
Charities and not-for-profits in Huron and Perth counties can get some funding for local issues they are helping to address.
The United Way of Perth-Huron is providing up to $20 thousand for one year for projects developed by registered Canadian charities, incorporated not-for-profits or qualified donees that are planning to, or already deliver, social and community services in Perth and/or Huron.
“The New Initiative Grant program is a great opportunity for community organizations,” said UWPH Director of Governance and Community Impact Megan Partridge.
“It’s a way to respond to emerging needs, test service models, support smaller projects and help pilot new ones.”
Expressions of interest can be submitted to UWPH until November 5. Submissions will be reviewed based on eligibility requirements and organizations will be notified whether or not their initiative has been approved to move on to the full application stage.
Full applications are then submitted by November 26, 2021.
