An 18 year old Barrie man has been charged with second-degree murder.
The OPP says Zachary Comeau was taken into custody on Sunday, in connection with the shooting death of 38 year old Andrew Brown in Trent Hills (east of Peterborough).
Police say on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at approximately 8:12 a.m., Northumberland OPP, along with paramedics, responded to reports of a man at a residence suffering from a suspected gunshot wound and he later died in hospital.
Investigators are continuing their search for a second suspect, Kaveon Terry Marcus Symeon DANIEL, 19 years of age, of Mississauga.
He is described as black, approximately 5’10”, 130lbs, with brown eyes and brown hair. An arrest warrant exists for this individual.
If Kaveon Terry Marcus Symeon DANIEL is seen, DO NOT APPROACH and call 9-1-1 immediately.

On October 17, 2021, members of the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit executed a search warrant at a residential property in the City of Barrie and arrested Zachary COMEAU, for Second Degree Murder.
