The Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 51 new COVID-19 cases and one new death.
It’s the first update since last week. 15 of the cases are children.
Today’s update also includes 44 newly resolved cases.
To date, 86 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received its first vaccine dose, while 81 percent has received its second.
