Mack Guzda has been named the Attack’s Huron Tractor Player of the Week for the first week of the season.
The overage goaltender went 0-1-1 over a weekend home and home against the London Knights, posting a .912 save percentage and a 2.98 goals against average.
Though not posting a win, Guzda was instrumental in helping the Attack earn a point in the season opener, as well as giving his team a chance to win in the home opener, as he came up with some big saves across both games over the weekend.
With a young team in front of him Guzda will be a big factor in the Attack’s success this year.
