Making a donation in support of Wasaga Beach’s new twin-pad arena and library is easy and safe when you use the new Tiptap terminals at select town facilities.
“Each Tiptap terminal allows a safe donation to our fundraising campaign using your debit card or credit card, as well as smart phone wallet options. Anyone can make a donation – residents and visitors alike. We are excited to roll out this technology as part of our arena and library project,” fundraising and sponsorship coordinator Val Dickson said.
How does it work?
At designated municipal front counters, take out your card or smart phone wallet and simply tap it against the Tiptap terminal. The encrypted device will then securely transfer your funds to our campaign.
Donors can make contributions of $5 per transaction. You can make donations as often as you wish.
Tiptap terminals are at the following locations:
- Town hall, 30 Lewis St.
- Wasaga Beach Public Library, 120 Glenwood Dr.
- RecPlex, 1724 Mosley St.
- Wasaga Stars Arena, 425 River Rd. W.
Each device is clearly marked.
The Town of Wasaga Beach is the first municipality to use Tiptap for a major fundraising campaign, following on the heels of several high profile organizations, including the Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, and Make-A-Wish.
It hopes to raise more than $1.7-million for the twin-pad arena and library project. This will involve donations from corporations, community organizations, and individuals.
