The Town of Wasaga Beach is advising the public about an issue with the latest series of water bills.
It says the water bills were mailed and/or emailed to all customers last week, before it was discovered that nine percent of the bills (1,050 out of 11,593) had a problem in their printing.
While the face of the bill is correct, the payment stub does not reflect the correct account number or amount owing.
The town says only a limited number of accounts were affected and steps have been taken to make sure this isolated situation will not happen again.
It is asking customers to pay the amount on the face of their bill, especially if it’s different then the amount shown on the payment stub.
