Pollinate Collingwood is hosting a free movie screening of Hometown Habitat, Stories of Bringing Nature Home.
The 90-minute environmental, education documentary is focused on showing how and why native plants are critical to the survival and vitality of local ecosystems. The goal is to grow an army of habitat heroes!
The movie will be shown at the Wild Stand General Store, starting at 7 tonight (Thursday).
Pollinate Collingwood is a community-led grassroots initiative. We are a network of residents, visitors, business owners, municipal leaders, and scientists who are working together. Our mission is to take action for our essential native pollinators.
Each audience member will receive a free native plant to take home.
eARTh revival will have additional native plants for sale at the event. Drinks and snacks are available from the Wild Stand General Store.
Please bring your own seating and a cozy blanket. We encourage riding your bike as parking is limited. The Wild Stand is easily accessed via Town trails.
