Four young people are facing charges in connection with a break-in at a business in Orillia.
The OPP was called to a business on Progress Drive just after 1am last Wednesday, when the owner had responded to an alarm and saw four people running away from the scene.
Officers flooded the area and thanks to the K9 unit, four suspects were taken into custody and police say over $1000 of merchandise was recovered.
The accused range in age from 12-15.
Police say the youths were charged with:
- Break, enter a place – with intent to commit an indictable offence
- Theft under $5000
- Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000
All four Orillia youths were released and are scheduled to appear on December 8, 2021 at the Ontario Court of Justice, Orillia Youth Court.
