There were no injuries Friday morning when a school bus was sideswiped by a flatbed truck on Wilson Road in Springwater Township. According to Huronia West OPP, the truck veered into the oncoming lane near Carson Road, to get around a disabled vehicle. It sideswiped the bus, which had a dozen children on board.
All were checked out by paramedics and cleared to get on another bus and continue their journey to school.
A 30 -year-old Collingwood man has been charged with careless driving.
