The Town of Penetanguishene, in partnership with the Culture Alliance in the Heart of Georgian Bay and Midland Public Library and Penetanguishene Centennial Museum & Archives will be hosting an outdoor movie event in support of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
The movie Indian Horse, will be shown free to the public on Wednesday September 29th, at 7:30PM.
Indian Horse is an adaptation of Ojibway writer Richard Wagamese’s award-winning novel. This moving and important drama sheds light on the dark history of Canada’s boarding schools or Indigenous Residential Schools and the indomitable spirit of aboriginal people.

Registration is recommended, however walk-ins will be welcome up to 100 people to ensure the event complies with COVID-19 restrictions.
