SMHDU Tues COVID-19 Update Includes 12 New Cases, 4 Children

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 12 new COVID-19 cases today and no new deaths.

Four of today’s cases are children in Essa, Innisfil, Wasaga Beach and New Tecumseth.

Today’s update also includes 3 new hospitalizations and 48 newly recovered cases.

To date, 85 percent of the region’s over 12 populations has received its first vaccination dose while 79 percent has received its second.
