A woman has allegedly been attacked as she walked her dog on a trail in Collingwood.
OPP say the female victim was pushed to the ground on the trail on Sunday night between Spruce and High Streets, by a man who came up from behind her.
Police say the victim was able to fight him off, and the attacker was last seen running west bound on the trail towards High Street.
The victim suffered minor physical injuries as a result of the incident.
The thug is described as a white male, approximately 5’10” tall and 170 lbs. with dark hair. He was wearing dark clothing.
Police brought out their emergency response team and a tracking dog but could not find the suspect.
The attack took place just before 9 p.m. If anyone saw the man or anything else suspicious, they are asked to contact Collingwood OPP or Crime Stoppers.
