An Ebike committing a traffic violation in Wasaga Beach has led to drunk driving charges.
The OPP say an officer on patrol stopped the Ebike on Friday night at the intersection of Golf Course and Klondike Roads, where a 27 year old man was arrested.
Police say Tyler MITCHELL 27 years of Wasaga Beach has been charged with Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was released from police custody on a recognizance to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Barrie on October 19, 2021.
In addition, the E-Bike was impounded for 7 days along with receiving a 90 day drivers licence suspension on the spot as per the conditions set out in the Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension (ADLS).
