It’s Hospice Georgian Triangle Community Day.
The Hospice recently opened a new office on Hurontario Street, and has been providing palliative care to the communities of The Town of Blue Mountains, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach and Clearview Township for over 30 years.
From 10am -2pm, you can stop by and meet its amazing team, ask questions and receive information about the vital programs and services offered, all available free of charge.
The programs include:
• Palliative care in Campbell House
• Palliative care in patient’s home
• Caregiver support
• Grief and Bereavement counseling services
• Respite care for palliative patients – NEW since March 2020!
• Palliative pain & symptom management clinic – NEW this year!
• Programs to support kids, youth and young adults dealing with death & loss – NEW this year!
• Group support sessions tailored to specific needs in our community
There will also be some fun activities for kids and the popular 50/50 tickets will be on sale!
