Anyone wanting to use the new playground at Goderich’s Main Beach will have to wait.
In a notice from the Town of Goderich, the opening of new playground has been delayed indefinitely.
The reason, according to the town, is due to incompatible parts and safety devices sent by the manufacturer.
“At this time the supplier has been unable to provide an estimated date for completion,” the notice says.
Funds for the park were donated by the Million and Lenzin families.
The former park disappeared from the town’s shoreline prior to the Labour Day holiday, but the new park has now taken its place.
