A suspicious package has led to a brief scare at the Canada Post Office in Thornbury.
Collingwood OPP, along with the Town of Blue Mountain Fire Department, responded to a report of a suspicious package at the post office on Tuesday morning.
Police say the investigation revealed a letter had been dipped in a harmless substance to enhance the fragrance of the parcel and the incident was deemed non-suspicious.
Collingwood OPP would like to remind residents that parcels emitting a strange odour will be flagged and investigated.
