The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 18 new COVID-19 cases today, including 4 children.
Among the new cases are 15 unvaccinated and partially vaccinated individuals.
There are also 29 more local cases that have screened positive as the Delta variant.
Today’s update includes 18 newly resolved cases and one new hospitalization.
To date, 84 percent of the region’s Over-12 population has received its first vaccine dose while 78 percent have received their second.
