Charges have been laid after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in a restaurant parking lot on First Street in Collingwood.
Police say the accident happened on Friday night, when a 22 year old woman from Grey Highlands was taken into custody for both impaired and dangerous driving.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say Coralyn CAMPBELL has been charged with:
· Operation while impaired – alcohol or drugs
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
· Dangerous operation causing bodily harm
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Collingwood in October 2021, to answer to the charges. Their driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days.
