Orillia OPP are investigating a hit and run involving a cyclist on Highway 12.
Police say the collision occurred just before 2:00 p.m., at the Monarch Drive intersection, where the cyclist was travelling westbound within the cycle lane when it was hit by a vehicle.
They say the vehicle initially stopped but then left the scene, while the cyclist was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Witnesses described the vehicle as a silver or grey SUV, possibly a Dodge Journey.
