A two-day kite festival is set to be held in Grey Highlands this weekend.
Kite flyers from all over will be at Nicholls Farm on the 9th Line in Markdale.
You could see giant squids, dragons and caterpillars floating on the breeze alongside a sky full of colourful kites. Some of the kites are reportedly the size of an RV.
Admission is free and people are encouraged to bring or make their own kites. There will also be a homemade kite contest.
Also, all of the federal election candidates for Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound are set to attend on Sunday afternoon.
The festival is set to take place September 18th and 19th from noon to 5 p.m. at Nicholls Farm, 135091 9th Line, Markdale.
