SMDHU Reports 25 New COVID-19 Cases On Friday, September 17th

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) is reporting 25 new COVID-19 cases and no new deaths.

8 of the cases are under the age of 17.

There are also 18 newly resolved cases and one new hospitalization.

To date, 84 percent of the region’s over-12 population has received its first vaccine dose, while 77 percent have received their second.

1 Huntsville
2 Essa
7 New Tecumseth
2 Clearview
2 Bradford West Gwillimbury
1 Oro Medonte
