Police have arrested a St. Thomas man in connection with a gravel-throwing incident involving Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau during a campaign stop in London.
The incident happened a week ago (Monday, Sept 6), as Trudeau was leaving an election event, but no injuries were reported.
As a result of an investigation, 25 year old Shane Marshall, has been charged with one count of assault with a weapon.
Marshall was the president of the People’s Party of Canada Elgin Middlesex London riding association, who was removed from his position following the incident.
