Students may finally be heading to class today at Barrie’s newest high school.
The city’s Building Department staff issued an occupancy permit for Maple Ridge Secondary School on Prince William Way yesterday, so it can open and welcome students for the new school year.
Permits are required by law and ensure that construction meets the minimum life and fire safety requirements contained within the Building Code.
