In its first update since the start of the long weekend, the Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 102 new cases of COVID-19.
It says among the new cases, 87 are in unvaccinated or partially vaccinated individuals, while 15 involved fully vaccinated people.
Over 60 of the new cases involve patients under the age of 35, 21 of them children.

10 Innisfil

2 Lake of Bays
The health unit says there are currently 242 active cases in the region, with 93 additional confirmed cases of the Delta variant and fourteen people hospitalized due to the virus-two more since Friday.
