More GO train service starts in Barrie today.
The changes include:
Southbound:
- Reinstated trips from Allandale Waterfront GO at 5:53 a.m., 6:53 a.m., and 7:38 a.m., arriving at Union Station at 7:33 a.m., 8:33 a.m., and 9:18 a.m.
- New trips starting from Allandale Waterfront GO at 9:08 a.m. and 1:08 p.m., arriving at Union Station at 10:48 a.m. and 2:48 p.m.
- One reinstated trip from Bradford GO at 7:06 a.m., arriving at Union Station at 8:18 a.m.
Northbound:
- Reinstated and new trip extensions, departing Union Station at 9:53 a.m.,1:53 p.m., 4:23 p.m., 4:53 p.m., 6:23 p.m., and 10:53 p.m., arriving at Allandale Waterfront GO at 11:34 a.m., 3:34 p.m., 6:04 p.m., 6:34 p.m., 8:04 p.m., and 12:04 a.m.
Some trips will be adjusted to maintain consistent service throughout the day:
Southbound trips:
- The 5:38 a.m. trip from Allandale Waterfront GO will now depart at 5:23 a.m., arriving at Union Station 7:03 a.m.
Northbound trips:
- The 5:08 p.m. trip from Union Station will depart 15 minutes later at 5:23 p.m., arriving at Allandale Waterfront GO at 7:04 p.m.

Some of our trains are shorter. Please look down the platform when the train approaches as you may need to adjust where you’re waiting. Be sure to use all available doors to board and listen for station announcements. Some coaches may be more popular than others. Please move to another coach to find a more comfortable space. We continue to monitor all trips and will make adjustments if needed.
